Education
The City of Sault Ste Marie has a few choices for school age children and our University for higher education.

Sault Area Public schools is available for kindergarten through twelfth grade. It has two high schools (grades 9 - 12), a middle school (grades 6 -8) and three elementary schools, Washington, Lincoln and Soo Township.
​
St Mary school is located 360 Maple Street. They are a Catholic school teaching grades kindergarten through eighth grade.
​
Bahweting is kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is currently funded a Public School Academy, chartered through Northern Michigan University and grants from the Bureau of Indian Education. The average annual enrollment is over 475 students.
​
LSSU is an accredited university. It has several degrees to choose from and is a wonderful University.
